Tupelo Releases Photo Of Officer In Shumpert Case

TUPELO ,MS (WCBI) – Tupelo city officials have released a picture of Officer Tyler Cook taken after his encounter with Ronnie Shumpert.   This is the picture taken approximately an hour after Cook and Shumpert struggled and Cook shot Shumpert to death

The picture shows bruising and scratches on the officers face.  Attorneys for Shumpert’s family have previously released photos of Shumpert
