An Elementary Gets A New Playground
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -It was a busy morning in Starkville for teachers, parents and dedicated members of the community as they helped build a new playground.
The project at Sudduth Elementary was the idea of a teacher that said a lot of her students were unable to play on the old playground.
National and local grants that added to 80 thousand dollars funded the development.
Part of the new playground was designed to accommodate special needs children.
Over 60 people got their hands dirty including the principal and superintendent.
