EMCC hosted Employer in the Foyer job fair at The Communiversity

EAST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY COLLEGE, Miss. (WCBI) – Employers in the Golden Triangle set up to meet potential workers on their own turf today.

Eleven area industries participated in the Employer in the Foyer job fair at The Communiversity this morning.

The Communiversity is part of East Mississippi Community College’s Workforce training program. Students, there are learning the skills most in demand by area manufacturers.

“We really appreciate EMCC offering this forum for us to get out. You know, after the pandemic people are getting out more, and we appreciate this opportunity to meet the students and be out with the public and talk about Weyerhaeuser,” April Pittman, Manager Weyerhaeuser.
