Video: Fire Destroys Lowndes County Home

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County home is destroyed by fire on Monday morning.

Neighbors saw smoke coming from the John Smart Road house, just before 8 AM.

Firefighters says the house was engulfed in flames when they arrived.

No one was at home of the time of the fire.

District 4 volunteer firefighters were able to put out the flames.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
