Video: Tupelo Shooting Suspect Arrested In Birmingham

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – U.S. Marshals arrest the man accused of shooting another at a Tupelo hotel the day after Christmas.

Norman O’ Brien Trice, 28, was arrested in Birmingham on Thursday.

Tupelo police say it could be Monday before Trice has an extradition hearing.

He faces at least one charge.

Officers were called Motel six on McCullough Boulevard when a man was shot in the leg.

Investigators say the victim was shot inside a hotel room.

He has since been treated and released from the hospital.

No motive has ever been released for the shooting.
