Police Want To Talk With Man That Tried To Lure A Boy In His Truck

EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI) – Eupora Police Chief Gregg Hunter says a man tried to lure a young boy into his truck.

Hunter says the boy was riding his bike at Eupora Lake on Sunday evening, about 7 P.M.

The man wanted for questioning stopped the boy and asked him to get in the truck to go see his bike.

The young boy refused and the man drove away, heading north on Highway 9.

Hunter says the man was driving a beat up, older model Chevrolet truck. It had scrap metal barrels on the back and possibly had an Alabama license plate.

The man wore black clothing.

Hunter asked for anyone with information to call the Eupora Police Department.
