Man Charged with Aggravated Assault

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A man is accused of shooting at his estranged wife and her boyfriend.

Lontrel Robertson is charged with aggravated assault.

Lowndes County deputies say he went to a Lodge Street home in Crawford on May 27.

The woman answered the door and saw Robertson in the yard.

She told investigators Robertson shot at the house.

The boyfriend went out to confront the Robertson, and deputies say shots were also fired at the unidentified man.

Robertson turned himself in.

His bond has not been set.
