Man Accused Of Setting Girlfriend On Fire
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is accused of setting his girlfriend on fire.
Lowndes County investigators say a 911 call was made May 31st about a Nashville Ferry Road house fire and a person being injured.
Deputies say the unidentified woman was placed in a vehicle to meet an ambulance and firefighters at the end of the driveway.
There was no major damage to the home.
Now, Eric Brown, 47, is charged with aggravated assault.
Once the victim could speak, she told investigators Brown poured a flamable substance on her.
Deputies are waiting on crime lab results to determine what was used to allegedly set the woman on fire.
The woman continues to recover from her injures.
