Video: Starkville Police Department Gets Temporary Quarters

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Work is set to begin on a new headquarters for the Starkville Police Department.

But, they’ll need a place to stay until then.

The Department is moving out of the old City Hall and into temporary digs on the the second floor of the new city hall building.

There are renovations needed before they can relocate, but Aldermen expect those changes to cost less than $25,000.00.

Officers plan to move by July 6th. Construction on a new police facility is also expected to start in July and take about 10 months.
