Three Killed In Pontotoc County Crash, Ice To Blame

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Three people were killed when a car hit a patch of ice in Pontotoc County about 10:15 A.M. Friday.

Trooper Ray Hall says the crash happened on Highway 9, in the Randolph community.

Two people died at the scene. The other died at a Memphis hospital.

A fourth person remains in the hospital.

Their names are not being released at this time.

Hall says the vehicle flipped several times.

State troopers continue to investigate the crash.
