Lowndes County man recognized by board of supervisors for saving a life
On September 16th Chad Surunis saw where a woman's car went off of Gunshoot Road and was filling up quickly with water.
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County man is recognized at the board of supervisors meeting for saving a life.
On September 16th Chad Surunis saw where a woman’s car went off of Gunshoot Road and was filling up quickly with water.
He jumped in to save the driver before first responders arrived.
Lowndes County E-911, fire coordinator, and supervisors all recognized Surunis’s heroic actions, today, with a resolution for heroism.
The driver, Patricia Goodwin-Gordon, was also there to thank Surunis for saving her life.
