Video: Parkway Second Graders Walk Across the Stage

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -Second Graders at Tupelo’s Parkway Elementary walked across the stage at the high school as part of graduation ceremonies.

Parkway second graders will head to Lawndale Elementary for third through fifth grade.

Each year, the second graders take part in a graduation ceremony. It is a lot of fun for students, and parents and it also teaches the young people about the value of hard work and dedication.

“Our students are told from day one about our high expectations we have at Parkway and those expectations are expected at Lawndale also and at any Tupelo school. ”

Ms.  Cartwright will be joining the youngsters at their new school.

She will be assistant principal at Lawndale this August.
