Video: CAFB Making Room for New Sign

COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. (WCBI) – The old comes down and the new will soon go up.

Workers remove the Highway 45 sign today that alerted drivers about Columbus Air Force Base.

The sign was installed in 2000.

Recently, the chamber of commerce raised $25,000.00 for a new sign.

It will be installed, with LED lighting, on Tuesday morning.
