More Charges in Robbery at Tupelo McDonald’s

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -Four people are arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Tupelo McDonald’s.

18-year-old Kayleigh Sansone is in jail for her part in the fast food fiasco.

Around 9:00 PM Sunday a juvenile pulled a handgun and took an undetermined amount of cash from an employee in the parking lot.

The teen then took off in a car.

Police stopped the vehicle on Wayne Drive shortly after the robbery and arrested Sansone and a juvenile.

A second juvenile was arrested Tuesday in connection with the burger joint hold-up.

No one was injured in the robbery.

All of the juveniles were transferred to Circuit Court jurisdiction and are now being tried as adults.

Sansone, along with 16-year-old Trajon King, 17-year-old Nijel Washington, and 16-year-old Cameron Watson, all of Tupelo, are being charged with Armed Robbery.
