VIDEO: Lowndes County Man Facing Charges After Slow Police Chase
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Compared to other police chases, this one was pretty slow. Now a Lowndes County man is facing several charges.
Lowndes County deputies say the found meth inside the truck of 36-year-old Lee Taylor Hill that eventually stopped in the Cracker Barrel parking lot.
An off-duty Caledonia marshal saw Hill driving erratically and called it in.
A deputy attempted to pull Hill over on Military Road.
Speeds topped out at about 40 miles per hour down Military Road, onto the bypass and then 18th Avenue North.
Hill is charged with possession of meth, disregard of a traffic light, and a seat belt violation.
Investigators believe he may have been under the influence.
