Second Suspect In Sprint Mart Shooting Charged
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The second suspect in a late April shooting has been charged.
According to Columbus Police, Lonnell Thompson, Jr. turned himself in last night for questioning.
Thompson was wanted in connection with the April 30th shooting at the Sprint Mart on Highway 69 in Columbus that left one person injured.
Thompson is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon, two counts of shooting into a vehicle, and one count of shooting into an occupied building.
The first suspect, Tyriq Kidd, turned himself in last Tuesday.
Kidd is charged with aggravated assault, shooting into a business, and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
