BREAKING – Montgomery Shooter Officially Charged

Montgomery County Sheriff Bubba Nix says authorities are charging  40-year-old McCarley resident Odell Hallmon in shootings that left three dead and one injured.

Nix says Hallmon faces 3 counts of murder, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possessionof a firearm by a convicted felon.

The sheriff says Hallmon is accused of shooting and killing 32-year-old Marquita Hill and her 59-year-old mother, Carolyn Sanders, in Kilmichael, and shooting and killing 32-year-old Kenneth Loggins near Winona. Nix says Hallmon and Hill have a son and Hallmon had been living with them until recently.

Nix says Hallmon allegedly shot Marcus Brown elsewhere in Kilmichael. Brown was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. His cousin, Ty Young, says Brown is alert but in critical condition.
