Video: One Dead in Funeral Home Shooting

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) — One person is dead after a shooting at a Macon funeral home, but there are still very few details.

Sources tell WCBI the shooting happened at Cockrell Funeral Home on Jefferson Street just before 3 p.m., Tuesday.

Officials have identified the victim as William Boyd McCollum.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time.
