American Idol Runner-Up Makes A Stop In Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – Today, members of the Mississippi House of Representatives were surprised with a treat as they prepared to close the 2016 Regular Legislative Session.

American Idol runner-up La’Porsha Renae stopped by the Chamber on her way home to McComb.

La’Porsha was joined by her mother, father, sister and daughter.

She sang “Amazing Grace.”

Rep. David Myers (D-McComb) introduced and recognized her with House Resolution 120.
