Video: 2 Arrested Following Collision Near MUW Campus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — An apparent car chase near downtown Columbus ends in a crash.

It happened shortly after 5 p.m. Friday on College Street.

The vehicle Lowndes County deputies were after hit another vehicle at the intersection of College and 11th Streets.

One person was arrested there.

MUW sent out an alert as officers covered the area to find another person who ran after the crash, but was eventually captured.

One person appeared to have minor injures.

The sheriff’s department has not commented on the incident.
