BILOXI, Miss. (WCBI) – A founding member of Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers is honored for his years of service.

Fred Bell was given the Mississippi Crime Stoppers Lifetime Service Award on Friday at the organization’s annual state-wide conference in Biloxi.

Bell is a former Columbus city councilman.

Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers was founded in 1991.

Bell still serves as treasurer.
