“Thank the Lord” Rally Planned for Monday Night

PICKENS CO, Ala. (WCBI)- An Alabama community devastated by February’s tornado, will hold a rally giving thanks to those who helped during a time of need.

A “Thank the Lord” Rally will be held Monday night at First Baptist Church in Aliceville.

Organizers say this program is ment for thanking the Lord that there were no fatalities, and few injuries suffered during the severe weather.

The rally is also a way for the Sapps Community to thank first responders, rescue crews, and neighbors for helping tornado victims.

Pickens County EMA Director, Ken Gibson, and other county leaders will be the guest speakers.

The event starts at 7 P.M.
