Cotton District Arts Fest Held This Weekend

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Along with Super Bulldog weekend, another popular event takes place this weekend.

The Cotton District Arts Festival is always a crowd favorite.

Organizers say around 40,000 people come to see the local arts.

All the art is unique and hand made.

The day kicks off with a 5k run at 8 am and entertainment runs through the afternoon.

“We’ve got three stages of entertainment with bands all day long and local acts on our 5 stages. It’s just a really good time in the historic Cotton District, which is a beautiful, beautiful place,” said Jon Turner, Chairman of the Cotton District Arts Festival.

If you want to participate in the 5K or the family fun run, you can register before at the MSU gate.
