EMCC Holds Pine Grove Arts Festival

MAYHEW, Miss. (WCBI)  — The rainy weather didn’t dampen the celebration at EMCC in Mayhew.

Live music, a cook-out and several other activities were held today as part of the annual Pine Grove Arts Festival.

The festival is a way to showcase local artists talent while bringing the student body together.

Pine Grove Arts is a one-day fest on the Golden Triangle campus.

Organizers say it’s a way to get the students together and celebrate the arts.

“At EMCC, we have a lot of fun, we serve our students and we’re about making memories,” said Scott Baine, Chairman of the festival.

The festival is also celebrated on the Scooba campus.
