Video: Street Work To Affect Traffic Flow in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Work in a recently annexed area of Tupelo will cause some traffic changes next week.

Tupelo Water and Light workers will be installing water pipes along Deer Park Road beginning Monday.

Heavy equipment needed to do the work will block traffic along the road, but it will not be closed.

Workers will set up detours Monday thru Thursday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Drivers are encouraged to take the suggested routes.

TW&L officials say the work should take two to three weeks to complete.
