Brushstrokes For Bramlett Showcases Student Art

OXFORD, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) — Oxford’s youngest school students will display their magnificent art masterpieces at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center, 413 South 14th Street in Oxford, on Thursday, April 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during Brushstrokes for Bramlett.
The free school-related event will feature a silent auction of student artwork—large art canvases created by each classroom at Bramlett Elementary School and the Scott Center—open to bidders; small art canvases by individual students will be on sale, too.
Art prints of classroom artwork will be available, while supplies last, for five dollars per print, thanks to p.press and Jill Carter Photography.
This year’s school fundraiser will also feature:
Live music from Oxford favorite Rocket 88; an entertainment area for children provided by Studio Whimzy; photobomb Photo Booth; and, food from Yoknapataco and Oxsicles.
Artwork from local artists will also be available for purchase at the event.
All proceeds from the school fundraiser will support the art program at Bramlett Elementary School, as well as the school’s parent-teacher organization (PTO).
