Video: Two Columbus Stars Ready to Play in Junior College

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Two of Coach Hairston’s best are ready to move on up.

Seniors Kayla Rogers and Rokila Wallace made it official on Friday as they will continue their basketball careers at Coahoma Community College and Meridian Community College.

Rogers finished her senior season with the Falcons by averaging a double-double, mainly against bigger players inside as a forward while Wallace was one of the top scorers this past season for Columbus.

The Falcons finished their 2015-16 season with an appearance in Jackson at the 6A State Basketball Tournament in the quarterfinals.
