Video: UPDATE: Local Strip Club Victim Of Armed Robbery

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Lowndes County investigators are offering reward money for information in the case of a strip club hold up.

They’re offering $10,000 for information leading to the conviction of the suspects who robbed The Pony early Thursday morning.

Deputies say an employee was taking out the garbage around 2 a.m., when he was approached by two armed men wearing masks.

They took the employee inside the business and took an unknown amount of cash.

The Pony was closed at the time of the robbery, but the building does have surveillance.

Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Capt. Ryan Rickert says it appears the robbery was a very well organized crime.

No one was injured.
