MCSD Still Searching For One Other Suspect In Hamilton Shooting

HAMILTON, Miss. (WCBI) – One suspect is arrested, another still on the run following Wednesday evening’s Hamilton shooting.

Shadrick Ware, 20, was arrested Wednesday night for the shooting that took place on Collins Lane.

He was taken to the Monroe County Detention Center where he is awaiting arraignment.

The other suspect, Dequann Marquise Lashon Payne, 20, has still not been caught.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public to be on the lookout for Payne.

He is a convicted felon and is considered armed and dangerous.

His last known address is Clay Street in Aberdeen.
