Video: Fire Heavily Damages Maben Home

MABEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Shortly before 2:00 Monday afternoon Volunteer Firefighters from Maben and Mathiston responded to a fire at the home of Brian Mitchell on Highway 15 North in Maben. One occupant home at the time of the fire was awakened by the smoke alarm escaped injury.

The fire caused heavy damage to the house and garage, but Firefighters were able to get it extinguished before it spread to any other nearby homes or buildings.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
