Video: Lowndes County Accident Injures Two People

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two people are sent to the hospital after a two vehicle crash in Lowndes County on Monday morning.

The accident happened on Highway 45 South at the intersection of Artesia Road around noon.

State troopers say the crash happened after a car pulled out of Artesia Road onto Highway 45, when a truck collided with the Pontiac.

People in the truck weren’t injured.

The driver of the car, 25 year-old Kierra Moody of Columbus, and the passenger, Joshua Finch, had non life-threatening injuries.

MHP is investigating the accident.
