BREAKING – Possible Tornado Touchdown Near New Hope

LOWNDES COUNTY, MS (WCBI) – Multiple reports of damage are coming in after a possible tornado tears through Lowndes County near New Hope.   Damage is reported along Lake Lowndes Road, Old Yorkville Road and near the Lakeover subdivision.  Emergency responders are also working to free motorists trapped in a vehicle near Bersheba Road. Trees are down across the area which is preventing crews from getting to all the damaged areas  WCBI will have more information as it becomes available.
