Video: Stations of the Cross Brings People Together in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Dozens of people hit the streets in Starkville Friday to symbolically recreate an important part of Christian religion.

Stations of the Cross took place downtown.

People walked behind local church leaders carrying a cross, making 14 stops, delivering a part of the crucifixion story at each stop.

There was also prayer and singing.

The event happens each year on Good Friday.

It’s an effort between First Methodist Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
