AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — What was a tame softball game turned into a wild finish on Thursday night.

Houston held off a late rally from Amory, as the Lady Toppers prevailed 6-5 over the Lady Panthers.

Amory trailed 3-2 going into the 7th inning when Houston scored 3 runs to extend their lead.

The Lady Panthers responded scoring 3 of their own in the 7th but unable to make it all the way back.
