Caledonia Man Faces Charges In Lowndes County And Lamar County, AL

CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) – A Caledonia remains in jail, facing charges in Lowndes County and in Lamar County, Alabama.

Caledonia Town Marshal Ben Kilgore says Anthony Robert Madden, 40, is facing misdemeanor charges in Lowndes County, including traffic violations and resisting arrest.

Lamar County Sheriff Hal Allred says Madden faces shooting into an occupied dwelling, reckless endangerment, and menacing charges in west Alabama.

Allred says the incident stems from a domestic dispute.

The shooting happened on Hopper Hollow Road, just outside Vernon.

Madden eventually made his way to Wells Drive in Caledonia, where he arrested by marshals and deputies.
