Video: Last Moments of Christ’s Life Play Out in East Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -It was an exercise in faith for some Columbus students. Annunciation Catholic middle school  students presented their 5th annual Living Stations of the Cross Wednesday.

The drama allows students to walk Christ’s journey to The Crucifixion.

Students acted out each station to help illustrate what was going on during that time period.

“It’s an amazing experience for them, it’s truly a prayerful experience because in the beginning when they’re first learning about the stations and the suffering that Jesus went through, they start to have that true understanding as their walking that road with him.”

Teachers say the play develops students’ public speaking skills and confidence.
