Video: Longtime Lowndes County Circuit Clerk’s Office Employee Retires

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Lowndes County Circuit Clerk’s office sent out longtime employee Beverly Arndt in style on Thursday afternoon at a retirement reception.

Arndt started in November 1981 and will retire at the end of the year.

The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors issued a proclamation in her honor.

Arndt was also given a flag from Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann that flew over the state capitol.

She plans to spend more time with family and travel during retirement.
