COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The precincts looked slow, and some even seemed empty.
With today being the Mississippi primary, and what some are even calling “Super Tuesday: The Sequel” voters are encouraged to turn out to their precinct and cast their ballot.
There are 40 Rebublican and 41 Democratic delegates to be passed around in the state of Mississippi, and the voting in the primary determines which presidential candidates from both parties will take those home, and eventually become their party’s nominee.
WCBI’s Alyssa Martin went to the Carrier Lodge precinct and takes a look.
