Pittsboro Voters Approve Alcohol Sales

Pittsboro, Mississippi (WCBI) – Pittsboro voters decided on Wednesday their town will be the smallest in the state to allow alcohol sales.

41 people voted in favor of beer and light wine sales, while 19 voted against the measure.

On the liquor sales referendum, 42 people voted in favor on the measure and 18 voted against.

Aldermen will meet December 9th to set regulations on where and when alcohol can be sold.
