UPDATE: Starkville Police Working Apparent Homicide – Suspect in Custody

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Starkville police are working an apparent homicide.
According to Starkville Police, Officers responded to a shots-fired call at Camelot Apartments around 7:30 Friday night. They found a juvenile with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. According to the coroner, 17-year old Dacorian K. Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested 28 Year old Neal Anthony Anderson of Starkville at the scene. He is being charged with murder.
According to Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Hunt, the victim’s body is being sent to Jackson for an autopsy.
