Video: Choctaw County First Responders Recognized for Their Service

ACKERMAN, Miss. (WCBI) -Choctaw County first responders get some well-deserved recognition – and dinner.

The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce and Red Hills Mine hosted the 5th Annual First Responders Dinner in Ackerman.

Volunteer and professional emergency personnel were recognized for the valuable service they provide to the county.

“We are the first ones on the scene to be able to assess the situation , let law enforcement or EMS know what they need . What needs to take place, or what other facilities we might have to have show up.”

Along with Dinner, door prizes were also awarded
