Video: Columbus Group Hosts Thanksgiving Service

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Dozens in Columbus spent their lunch hour Thursday at a “Praise and Prayer” Thanksgiving service.

The organization Christian Community in Prayer hosted the event at the downtown YMCA.

The program included worship songs, prayers, and a special testimony from Lowndes County deputy Clint Sims who was shot in the line of duty in March.

Sims credits his recovery so far to the support and prayers of the community.

WCBI’s very own Aundrea Self was the emcee for the event.
