Clay Crash Injures Four

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Clay County driver is airlifted from a Highway 45 Alternate crash on Thursday afternoon.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the unidentified driver of a mini-van pulled out in front of an 18-wheeler at Tibbee Road.

Two people inside the van were taken to a Columbus hospital, along with the driver of the big rig.

The person behind the wheel of the van was flown to a Tupelo hospital.

Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
