Video: State Lawmakers Meet With NAACP In Winston County

Louisville, Mississippi (WCBI) – Lawmakers who represent all or portions of Winston County heard from residents Tuesday night at the NAACP’s general membership meeting.

State Senator Giles Ward and Representative Mike Evans talked about education funding and road and bridge improvements.

The lawmakers also talked about redistricting and how it will impact Winston County voters.

Ward is not seeking re-election.

The meeting was held at the Winston County Library.
