Officer Critically Injured During MBN Agent Escort

GRENADA, MS (WCBI) – A Grenada Police Officer is in critical condition after being injured while escorting the body of slain MBN Officer Lee Tarrt.

Officer Kenny Engle, who has served as a reserve officer for more than a decade was blocking a ramp along Interstate 55 while the escort passed.  When it had cleared the scene, Engle was leaving on his motorcycle when he hit a car parked along the Interstate shoulder.
