Lowndes County Sheriff Investigating Shooting Death

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department is working a death.

Coroner Greg Merchant was on scene.

A sheriff’s deputy told WCBI that it started as a domestic disturbance, he says A father shot his son.

As of last check,the father was in custody.

It started around 6:45 p.m. on Mike Parra Road.

Investigators can not confirm at this time that it is a homicide.
