Victim In Bruce Shooting Identified

BRUCE, Miss. (WCBI) – Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan has identified the man shot to death this morning in Bruce.

Pollan says a Bruce police officer was on patrol about 12:30 AM on Thursday when he noticed a car in a store parking lot.

The officer discovered 31 year old James Pratt of Weir dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Pollan adds they are questioning one of Pratt’s co-workers  and another person in connection with his death but no charges have been filed at this time.
