Video: Tupelo Students Meet With Industry Representatives

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo High School students had a chance to meet with representatives from a variety of companies as part of the career and technical center fair.
The annual career and tech fair brought in companies such as Cooper Tire, Toyota, Jesco, and others.
Students are able to see what possible careers are available in each industry, along with the necessary education and skills.
“It’s never too early to start talking to the students and get them thinking about what they’re going to do beyond high school so we have talked to alot of tenth and eleventh grade students while we’ve been here at Tupelo, we have also talked to some twelfth graders we also have our application process opened now for this program.”
February is “Career Technical Education Month.”
