TUPELO, MS (WCBI) – Accused burglar Jada Presley Harrington has decided to forego the full legal process and plead guilty to breaking into a storage facility.
District Attorney John Weddle says the 37 year old daughter of the late Lee County Sheriff Harold Ray Presley admitted in court this morning she broke into a storage facility on East Main Street. Presley made the move after waiving indictment and a trial and accepting a plea agreement. That deal charges her with burglary of a commercial building and carries a seven year prison term with 5 years suspended. Presley will serve five years probation and pay $1,500 in court costs. Her husband Clint Harrington and mother Charlene Presley still faces charges in the case.
