Man Arrested With Machete In His Pants

Columbus, Mississippi (WCBI) – Columbus police say when Richard Anderson, 43, was patted down he had a machete concealed in his pants.

Officers pulled up to a crowd on 7th Avenue North but did not release a day or time.

Investigators say Anderson was patted down for safety.

The Columbus man is a convicted felon and not allowed to have a machete.

Anderson’s bond was set at $5,000.
